We are members of Swinton Primary Care Network
Who are Swinton Primary Care Network?
We have joined forces with Poplars Medical Centre, Silverdale Medical Practice and The Lakes Medical Centre to provide a greater range of extra services. Ones that meet Swinton’s needs. Nobody else’s.
99 per cent of practices across England now work as part of a primary care network to focus on local patient care together. We’re aiming for ours to be one of the best in the country!
With increased demand and a shortage of clinical staff, practices find they can provide greater, more personalised care for patients when they can work together on certain services or issues.

How does this affect me?
You are still registered with our practice and we still operate independently. Working with the other practices means we can offer you a greater range of appointments and services on top of what we already provide to you.
This might mean:
- appointments at one of the other three practices in Swinton if it’s faster or the time is more convenient for you
- consultations with specialist clinicians who can deal with some symptoms more effectively than a GP
- access to GPs and other clinicians at evenings and weekends
