Practice Manager

The Practice Manager is responsible for the efficiency, effectiveness, development, and safe management of the practice, while ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives. Lorraine will also ensure the well-being of patients, doctors, nurses, and staff, and the successful smooth running of the practice. The Practice Manager is responsible for daily practice operations, patient services, Safeguarding, Policies and procedures, including appointment scheduling, billing, and financial performance. Lorraine is also the Practice Lead for the Primary Care Network (PCN) in Swinton.

Michelle Gilmour
Deputy Practice Manager

Michelle provides support to the Practice Manager and ensures that the practice operate as an effective working environment. The Deputy Practice Manager is responsible for daily practice operations and has line management responsibility for the medical reception team. Michelle leads in the development of the staff, identifying any training requirements or performance issues and taking remedial action where required. Michelle also manages research projects and addresses patient complaints in a compassionate and timely fashion.
